You may remember when I posted about my best friend’s son turning one.

Well, impossibly, Little MD is turning 2. And this is what happens when your best friend’s son turns 2:

You are certain his eyes are the most beautiful you’ve seen. Just as they were a year ago.

His indesribably sweet personality melts you into a puddle.

You know that watching this little boy grow up will be truly special because you’ve realized not only is your best friend the insanely wonderful friend you always knew she was, but now you know she’s that good a mom too.

You can’t wait to share another year of milestones and accomplishments and frustrations with not just another mom, but your best friend.

His grin is one of the sweetest in the world. Only your own children can really compete.

and as always, you adore his wispy hair.

Basically, when your best friend has a baby and when that baby turns 2, you just love him. Like a crazy lot.
